Davina is the Director of Procurement, managing a team of staff responsible for delivering contracts and realising savings and efficiencies across a broad spectrum of areas.

Davina worked at Southampton Hospitals NHS Trust as a Contracts Negotiator until she left to travel the world. On her return she moved back home to Devon and was appointed to the PPSA in May 2002. Davina began as the PPSA Procurement Lead for Pharmacy and built up the successful Pharmacy Stakeholder Group. She has led work not only for the PPSA but also across the whole of the South West and has a good track record for realising significant savings and efficiencies.

Davina has led many contracts, especially Pharmacy Homecare projects, which provide and administer patients with their medicines in the comfort of their own home. These projects are often complex in nature with a requirement to involve both Acute Trusts and Commissioners in order to ensure a fully integrated approach.

Davina graduated from the University of Southampton with a BSc (Hons) in Pharmacology. She is a fully qualified member of the Chartered Institute of Purchasing & Supply (CIPS) and has completed the Institute of Leadership Management (ILM) qualification level 5.
