Gary Turner is a Category Manager working primarily on corporate projects, but he also supports various other tenders and contract management, as required.

Prior to joining the PPSA in November 2003, Gary began his career in the Chemical Industry as a stock controller.  Whilst at this company he was also part of the implementation team for a European-wide stock management and finance IT system.  He then joined a legal stationery company as a Buyer.  When this company was bought by the market leading company, he transferred to the parent company as Group Purchasing Manager, with overall responsibility for all contracts and procurement.  He was also responsible for content in the company sales catalogue.  After a couple of successful years, Gary joined the NHS with Healthcare Purchasing Consortium (now HealthTrust Europe) in the West Midlands as a Non-Medical Buyer and achieved significant cost reductions in a number of areas.

Gary is a full member of the Chartered Institute of Purchasing and Supply (CIPS).
